When Ashley walked into the Baby Depot a few weeks ago, her life had just been turned upside down.
A fire had ripped through the apartment above hers. Down below, water poured through her ceiling, soaking cribs, clothes, and every little thing her babies depended on.
By the time the firefighters left, she was told she couldn't get back into her home for weeks.
That's when her caseworker called us. Would we be able to help her replace some of the things she'd lost in the fire? As a mom of 2-month-old twin boys and a 2-year-old daughter, she had nothing.
